We battled the heat and continued our progress. On July 10th Josh leveled and tamped dirt for basement floor. We had fun with a slow-mo video.
We worked hard to find masons to come in as soon as possible. This was a challenge since calls were not returned or the masons were overbooked as is. We finally hired Baldwin concrete after a suggestion from Rachael (the lady that cuts Josh's hair. On July 13 Basement walls were formed.
On July 15 walls were poured and stripped.

On July 20 Josh and Sam put down blue board foam and mesh then we installed radiant heat tubbing in floor.

For Josh's 32nd birthday on July 27th ,Sam surprised Josh with a fishing trip to Lake Ontario for king salmon. Unfortunately the only fish caught was one lake trout. We happily returned home with our $700 fish that ended up being dog food.
On July 31st the basement floor was poured.
